Technical and management capacity of SBF

The Foundation currently has 11 professional staff with various backgrounds, responsible for the implementation of the programmes and Project in the organization.  The Foundation also has a 5 member Board of Trustees who is responsible for the general growth of the organization and providing policy direction to the project staff for the implementation of programmes.

Profile

She is a retired Public servant and a renowned philanthropist with over 25 years of experience in development work- impacting women, transforming lives and providing hope for the vulnerable. She is a celebrated mother, grandmother and senior citizen with enormous experience in development interventions.  She is the founder and Executive Director of Sung- Bawiara Foundation


Mad. Christine Choka Seidu

(Executive Director)

A development practitioner, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Specialist, Research Fellow and environmental Advocate with 10 years of experience in development-related intervention. He has been working as a consultant for Sung-Bawiara Foundation since 2015 and is currently the program's Coordinator for Shea Business Empowerment Programs (SBEP) and general projects.



Mr. Tahiru Lukman

(Programs Coordinator/ Development Consultant)

A professional Registered General Nurse with a strong commitment to women and girls' training on health, and safety. She intensifies advocacy on women empowerment initiatives such as agriculture value chain, adolescent sexual and reproductive health

Miss Doris Siibu

(Health and Agri-Business Consultant)

A social worker with a deep-seated background in the shea value chain, and women entrepreneurship and have formed and trained over 200 Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA) in the Upper West Region. Leading Sung- Bawiara Foundation Tree 4 Life project which aimed at developing woodlots in communities, schools and health facilities.

Mr. Ghanamy Shalabil

(Project Officer – Climate Change/ VSLA Development)

A social worker with a deep-seated background in the shea value chain, and women entrepreneurship and have formed and trained over 200 Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA) in the Upper West Region. Leading Sung- Bawiara Foundation Tree 4 Life project which aimed at developing woodlots in communities, schools and health facilities.

Mr. Binni Wisdom

(Project Officer-

Community Mobilization


He has an excellent background in banking, finance, entrepreneurship, commerce and record keeping. He has over 10 years of experience in organizational financial and accounting practices and has been working as an accountant to Sung- Bawaira Foundation.
