Technical and management capacity of SBF

The Foundation currently has 11 professional staff with various backgrounds, responsible for the implementation of the programmes and Project in the organization.  The Foundation also has a 5 member Board of Trustees who is responsible for the general growth of the organization and providing policy direction to the project staff for the implementation of programmes.

Sungwiara Guy Lukman: Sung-Bawiara Foundation empowering women in Shea value chain on best practices.  

A total of 600 women both old and young were mobilized in 16 communities in the Ga Area Council of the Wa West District of the Upper West Region. They received training on cooperative management, Shea business development, financial management, health and safety, Shea Kernel Aggregation. First Aid Box, 100 boots and gloves, cash book and two motorkings were provided to support their business.

The project which is Shea Business Empowerment Program (SBEP) has Sung-Bawiara Foundation as sub implementer with Global Shea Alliancence as Main partner and funding source Mastercard Foundation and Young African Works
